today our adventures took us local to Rashay's at North Rocks, it is new and just opened a few months ago. the place wasn't busy i guess because of the location it was upstairs in the shopping centre where people dont really go except for dining.
the place is very clean and the staff was great.
the kitchen was behind glass so we could see the kitchen's operation, very clean.
coconut hot chocolate $4.90
had a range of different hot chocolate and coffees flavours.
bruschetta $4.90
i really enjoyed the bruschetta, sweet tomatoes, tangy sticky sour balsamic vinegar and the basil on super crunchy bread. just the way i like my bruschetta with super fresh onion.
veal schnitzel $10.90
very nice seasoning on the veal and very thin and crunchy. nice small bunch of rockets in a balsamic dressing, nice and tangy to balance the bitterness. very clean and fresh rockets, crunch chips with amazing buttery mushroom sauce! the sace was soo yummy.
chicken burger $14.90
peri peri sauce was very good, the burger was made very well overflowing with sauce and all the yummy goodness. we will definitely will be returning there for another mean.
the above items were ordered from the specials menu which is i think of a decent size and value. however they do come in bigger portion at the main prices which i would say round the $20-25 mark.
there are pizzas and pastas, the desserts look good too... i think it will be good to have a gathering there for good food and drinks.
hippo out!
